Honestly for 30 minutes I was out of this competition as possible? It seems that I am not an active member. I can here to ensure that other members have posted their entry out of time and were accepted in other competitions!

That has nothing to do within my decision. Ofcourse you are an active member and it's great to see that you're actively participating in every (or most) competitions. But I don't think that missing just one because you were too late will destroy your reputation / statistics on the website. I can ensure that every time that I close a competition for voting I do not include any userbar that has been submitted 5 minutes over the deadline.
