Hey guys... hoping someone can help!

I want to make a logo and banner for my team in Buzzerbeater (online basketball game), Northern Kyushu Ramen Kings.
The best logos I've ever seen were created by a guy on this site - redberrets_commandos - I tried PMing him here, but as yet no response.

This is what I've been using thus far: http://www.buzzerbeater.com/team/53423/overview.aspx . I used the logo from the band "Cotton Mouth Kings" and using paint (yes, I am a logo-creation neophyte) I changed the backwards 'K' into an 'R'. If someone wanted to incorporate something of that, that too would be ok.

Now, these are the specifics of my request...
Logo
Graphic Size: 125 x 125px
Background Color: Black
Images: The central image could be Poseidon (greek god of oceans) coming out of the sea (ref: http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_twr73AwI7V0/S5YKlwedLvI/AAAAAAAANhc/dBWnOytExeo/s400/poseidon_sculpture_copenhagen_20051.jpg - note, this image is an example, and not the specific image desired). If possible, could the sea look "stringy"... but be creative. Hell, I could envisage the central image being simply a trident...
Text: Northern Kyushu Ramen Kings
Font: Something appropriately dramatic, please have a look at redberrets_commandos's work to see what I mean by "appropriately dramatic" - something striking and crisp. If further discussion is needed on this, do not hesitate to contact me (I will respond quickly).
Animation: no animation
Additional Comments: Team colours are black, silver and accents of very bright green (like #40FF00). I am somewhat flexible on both design and colour tho'. If the phrase "primus inter pares" can be worked into the logo, great. If not, I understand that it's a small space, and already very busy.

Banner
Graphic Size: 650 x 66px
Background Color: Black
Images: Same thematic as the logo, tho' if a basketball could be worked into the edge on one side, that would be awesome.
Text: Northern Kyushu Ramen Kings, and "primus inter pares" (team motto"
Font: same as the font for the logo
Animation: none.
Additional Comments: The banner and logo should definitely have the same "look".

I really appreciate any efforts. I know I'm being very specific, and demanding... and for that I apologise. I am after a specific feel to the logo/banner... redberrets_commandos's work should give an ample feel as to what I'm after.

It seems quite obvious that this request is just that tad too high for us to do it in our free time. Please do remember that this is mainly a userbar site, not a graphical forum. You'll have to find a different place to have your request completed.
